Body Contact/ Checking Clinic 10/18/23 at Santander Arena.
Select your time:
- 5-6 pm Bantam/Midget ages working on angling and hitting the proper way
- 6-7 pm Squirts/Pewee ages working on body separating from the puck
Description: Bodychecking – Clinics are designed to teach the fundamentals of using your body the right way in hockey while also learning how to be hit properly to not get hurt. With instruction from 2 NCAA athletes, hockey players will learn how to use their bodies to take the proper angles and separate the player from the puck. There is more to checking than just the hitting part and players will learn all the necessary parts to be successful.
