The “Shootout” Skill Clinic (08/21/22)

This will be a great clinic for both players and goalies to sharpen their skills! We will be going over different techniques for both Breakaways and Penalty Shots.

Players will be taught:

• Time and space management
• When to shoot or deke
• Changing the angle of attack
• Speed and puck control
• Deceptive techniques to trigger early goalie commitments

 
Goalies will be taught:

• Patience and understanding attack options
• Use of stick in close
• Forcing players to run out of time and space
• Eliminating good angles
• Pivoting to their posts
• This clinic will be open to players and a maximum of 6 goalies.

11:00-12:00pm – Birth years 2014-2011

12:30-1:30pm – Birth years 2010-2005

Those that register will receive a ticket voucher to a 2022-2023 Reading Royals game.
