Learn To Play
Learn the game of hockey, develop your skills and receive a jersey upon registration during the Reading Royals six-week Learn to Play program, presented by Visions Federal Credit Union! Learn to Play sessions include instruction by 3 NCAA athletes and Royals hockey players on mechanics along with lessons to take and work on at home. Beneficial for all positions at all skill levels!
Ages:
Players ages 4 to 16 are accepted. Special cases can be made for young adults by contacting jgriffith@royalshockey.com
Level:
Learn to Play is mostly geared towards players with less than two years hockey experience.

When:
Learn to Play is a year round program that offers sessions consisting of six different weeks of practice. Each session is geared toward developing each young athletes skill set in a safe and comfortable environment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I only pay for one or two weeks of practice?
We do offer a higher pro-rated option if you can only attend three sessions or less. Contact jgriffith@royalshockey.com for more information.
What gear do I need to register?
Skates, helmets, shin & elbow pads are required. Limited loaner equipment is available by contacting jgriffith@royalshockey.com.
